My expertise in logistics, supply chain and transportation management stems from firsthand experience working in a shipping department, working for carriers, and facilitating communication and collaboration among shippers and carriers. I’ve established a proven record of problem-solving through effective troubleshooting and determining root causes. I have mentored shippers on long and short term action plans for business growth and have successfully helped them achieve substantial results guiding them through many logistics and day to day challenges.
I have prior experience as an approved Arbiter for the Transportation Arbitration Board. I earned certification as a CCP and previously served as Vice President of Membership and Regional Director New England Region 1 with the Certified Claims Professional Accreditation Council. I completed the course Transportation, Logistics and The Law (Certificate of Completion).
Working as Director of Carrier Relations at Kuehne+Nagel, I have more than 15 years of experience with contracts and mediating claims filed against motor freight carriers. Supervising the freight claim department and working with all stakeholders to resolve claims, other duties also included procurement of software and services, contract review, negotiations, attending trade shows, and on-boarding new partners.
I regularly created and presented information developing and nurturing C-level relationships when attending client review meetings. I'm very comfortable working on the road managing travel schedules while achieving and exceeding sales targets. I have a never stop learning mindset and enjoy connecting with others at industry conferences and events. I have authored more than 100 articles for transportation related blogs and coordinated and collaborated with multi-functional teams of content marketers, web developers, and project managers to ensure highest quality website content. In addition to Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Zoom, I’ve worked with Quickbooks, Google Analytics, Hubspot, and Salesforce.
I also have experience performing carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and gas piping for residential and commercial applications.
